What Your Favorite Dance Moms Girl Says About You

Between the years of 2012-2015, I was obsessed with Dance Moms. I get embarrassed thinking of it now, but for most of my middle school years and even early high school years, I had the deepest love for this show. Since around 2015, I just kinda stopped watching the show, and I haven’t really thought about it since. That all changed when coronavirus hit the US and a stay-at-home order was initiated. That is when I decided to go back into the world of the Abby Lee Dance Company, and relive my obsession. While watching the show and talking to my friends about it, I noticed that someone's favorite Dance Moms girl says a lot about who that person is. That is when I took it upon myself to binge watch 7 seasons of Dance Moms and give you my version of “If you liked this Dance Moms girl, you are probably like this.” This was just all in good fun, and I hope you enjoy it!

Maddie: If Maddie was your favorite, you probably like things a certain way. You are most likely ambitious and a perfectionist. Just like Maddie, you tend to shine brighter than others so you don’t mind stepping into leadership roles and taking on more responsibilities. However, when things don't go your way, you tend to fall apart. You are really hard on yourself and expect a lot from yourself so when things do not go to plan, that really gets to you. Always remember that you are super talented and achieving capable of great things.

Chloe: If Chloe was your favorite, you probably LOVE an underdog. You like to see the best in everyone and have a lot of heart. Just like Chloe, you have just so much talent and potential, but you lack the natural ambition and confidence that would help push you over the edge. However, you are probably shy and don't usually speak up for yourself when you feel like you deserve better. When the pressure is on, you either rise to the occasion or tend to get in your head. Just remember that you are amazing, and don’t let anybody push you around or make you feel less than you are.

Brooke: If your favorite was Brooke, you probably have a natural talent for the things you love to do. It may be hard for you to push yourself out of your comfort zone or to do things that you do not want to do. You know what you want and you focus on that; nothing will stop you from doing what you want to do even when others say differently. You’re probably one of those people who goes through phases of different hobbies. Whether it’s painting, writing, or even cheerleading, you will do every single one of them with all of your heart and concentration. Just know that when you put your mind and heart into something, you are capable of anything, even when people doubt you!

Kendall: If Kendall was your favorite, you know what you like and tend to be very sassy. You don't like when people get in your way and hate when people speak for you. You are a strong person when you are put in high stake situations, you will succeed and show everyone what you are capable of. You are a fighter and want to be the best. However, if I’m being honest… you can be a little messy and bratty in times of conflict. You don’t like drama and you are quick to try and shut it down, but sometimes your emotions tend to get the best of you which can accidentally cause more drama than fix it. You are your own person and people really love that about you!

Mackenzie: If Mackenzie was your favorite, you probably are a natural at whatever you put your mind to. Even though you probably get compared to others, you have your own talents and are your own person. You are eager to make sure that people know you for you and not for being around others. You also are not afraid to be honest, which is probably why people like you so much. If you don’t want to do something or would rather be at home eating chips, you will let people know. Sadly, you tend to get overlooked by others, and your confidence isn’t that high due to comparing yourself to others. Even though it is easier said than done, remember to believe in yourself and stop comparing yourself to others, because you are so talented and able to do anything you put your mind to.

Paige: If Paige was your favorite, you are probably a really fun person. You are all about teamwork and having fun with your friends. You are a great friend and are super supportive. You are great at being a team player, and believe that everything is better when you are surrounded by people you love. However, when pressure is put on you, you tend to get too in your head and fumble. This is usually because of the pressure you put on yourself and maybe your fear of being on your own. People are drawn to your bubbly personality, and look to you to be the light of the room. People can always count on you to make others laugh and have a good time.

Nia: If your favorite was Nia, you are probably a very reasonable person who loves taking a stance for things. Sadly, you tend to be overlooked, but when you are given a shot to shine… you do not disappoint! You are a natural leader and need to seize more opportunities! You are so capable! I’m also just gonna say that you deserve better. You are such a team player and tend to be the peacemaker by fitting to what the situation needs at the time. You are probably great at knowing when to speak and fight back which makes you smart and super likable. I hope you know that you are a star, and just genuinely the best kind of person.
