We got a new home

You won't see it

but

It’s filled with things from your home.

They remind me of you.

(Remind me that you're gone)

I do like having you here though.

Having your plants

And the painting papa bought for you-

You adored it.

Although,

The more we bring of yours to our new place,

The less that is in your home.

Sitting.

Growing stale and

Collecting dust.

Six months without you.

Six months,

A pandemic,

And a new home

Without your eyes.
